Hello there! My name is Maryiam Bazzi and I’m an surface designer & illustrator based in Detroit, MI.
My work has been published and displayed in art exhibitions, and have served as promotional designs for clients including Louis Vuitton, Saks Fifth Avenue, Jo Malone London, You Matter by Demetrius Harmon, SANA Detroit, the Michigan Space Grant Consortium/NASA and Prairie Margins Literary Magazine. I have obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI.
Throughout my creative career as an illustrator, I have been introduced to the art licensing, fashion and lifestyle & publishing industries. These have helped influence my creative goals in creating light-hearted and adventurous illustrative pictures and patterns.
In my free time I enjoy reading, watching scary movies, writing poetry and baking sweets. With that, my work is influenced by my childhood experiences, nature, film and novels.
